Your Questions, Answered: Park City Wedding DJ FAQs

Planning a wedding brings up a lot of questions. Below are some of the most common ones we hear from couples. If something is not covered here, we are always happy to talk through it with you.

Booking and Availability

How far in advance should we book a DJ?

Most couples book their DJ six to twelve months in advance, especially for peak wedding season dates. If your wedding is coming up sooner, it is still worth reaching out. Availability can vary.

Do you travel for weddings?

Yes. We regularly work throughout Utah and also travel for destination weddings. Many of our couples plan from out of state, and we are experienced in supporting weddings from a distance.

Services and What Is Included

What is included in your DJ services?

DJ services include professional sound equipment, music planning support, and both DJ and MC services for your wedding day. We work with you ahead of time to understand your preferences, timeline, and priorities so the day feels well paced and intentional.

Additional options such as ceremony sound, multiple setups, and lighting can be added based on your needs and venue.

What if we do not know what songs we want?

That is very common. You do not need to have everything decided before reaching out. We focus first on a few key moments such as the ceremony, first dance, and any parent dances. From there, we help shape the rest of the music based on your style and how you want the celebration to feel.

3

Planning and Day Of Support

Will you help with our wedding timeline?

Yes. Music and announcements play a major role in how the day flows. We help plan and review your timeline so moments feel natural and transitions feel smooth. We also coordinate with your venue and other vendors to keep everything on track.

Do you act as the MC?

Yes. As MC, we guide guests through introductions, toasts, special moments, and transitions throughout the day. The goal is to keep guests informed without drawing unnecessary attention, allowing the celebration to feel relaxed and effortless.

4

Music and Personalization

Absolutely. Music is tailored to reflect your personalities, your energy, and your vision. Some couples come in with very specific requests, while others prefer guidance. Either approach works. What matters most is that the music feels like you.

5

Choosing the Right DJ

How do we know if a DJ is the right fit?

Beyond pricing and packages, pay attention to how the conversation feels. A DJ who is the right fit will ask about your vision, your guests, and how you want the day to unfold. You should feel heard and supported, not rushed or sold to.

A great DJ takes your ideas seriously and helps bring them to life rather than forcing you into a preset formula.

6

Still Have Questions?

No question is too small. Planning should feel clear and supported, not stressful. If you would like to talk through your plans or learn more about how we work, feel free to reach out.
